This was a very rewarding and fulfilling project. I've had an old chair at home for about 15 years which I bought in an antique shop originally. I don't know how old it is but the style looks like a Queen Anne?? The timber was brown and the seat upholstery was a very dated shiny brown and orange paisley fabric. I used a heavy weight raw hemp textile and embroidered a design which is inspired by traditional embroidery seen on Polish folk blouses. I absolutely love this chair, it's such a statement piece.
